श्रीमते श्रीलक्ष्मीनृसिंहपरब्रह्मणे नमः
श्रीमदादिवण्शठकोपयतीन्द्रमहादेशिकाय नमः
श्रीमते श्रीवण्शठकोप-श्रीरङ्गनाथ-यतीन्द्रमहादेशिकाय नमः

आचार्यदशकम्

भूयो भूयाद्धि भद्रं नः पट्टनं यातु पुण्यताम् ।
भद्रद्वयप्रवेशेन मयूरक्षेत्रवासिनाम् ॥ १ ॥
Let there be prosperity in plenty to us, the residents of Mylapore. Let our town become holier by the glorious visit of the two bhadra-s (Narasimha-s) – Sri Malola and Srimad Azhagiyasingar.

यतीन्द्रं रङ्गनाथाख्यं श्रियायुक्तं पुरा सदा ।
त्रयीनाथं महाचार्यं शठकोपं भजेमहि ॥ २ ॥
Let us always worship our acharya, the best of ascetics, Sri Srivan Satakopa Ranganatha Yatindra Mahadesikan, a renowned Vedic scholar and a great acharya.

पञ्चाननोSपि भद्रोSयं सर्वान् जयति सस्मितः ।
दृष्ट्वा दयैकजीमूतं मयूरायते मनो हि नः ॥ ३ ॥
Though a Simha (lion), our acharya is very dear to us as he wins everyone to his side with a (mere) smile. Looking at this merciful rain-bearing cloud (acharya) our minds dance like peacocks.

वेदानां च तदन्तानां तथ्यार्थपरिरक्षणे ।
तस्मै प्रदत्तचित्ताय भूयोSस्तु नो नमो नमः ॥ ४ ॥
Our Salutations to this acharya again and again, who is ever thinking about protecting the true Import of the Vedas and the Vedanta.

शान्तं स्खलितशिष्योSपि क्षान्तश्च यस्य सन्निधौ ।
अनन्तसुगुणोपेतं नस्सुकृतं भजे हि तम् ॥ ५ ॥
I salute our acharya who is ever calm and composed, in whose sannidhi (presence) even an erring sishya is forgiven, who has innumerable good qualities and who is the result of our good deeds.

प्रेरणे शासने शिष्यान् नयने सद्गतौ सदा ।
बोधने धर्मशास्त्रान्तं निपुनं निरतं भजे ॥ ६ ॥
I salute our acharya who is always devoted in teaching, encouraging and leading the sishyas in the path of satsampradaya, and who is an expert in teaching the dharmashastras as well to his sishyas.

यो ज्योतिषेSपि चान्येषु वेदाङ्गेषु विशारदः ।
यतीश्वरं हरेर्दासं भजे हितं द्विवेदिनम् ॥ ७ ॥
I salute our acharya who is a dvivedi, the lord of ascetics, a dasa of Narasimha, an expert in Jyotisha and other Vedanga-s and our well-wisher.

नृसिंहे चापि तेनैव तन्नाम्नाSSगतयोगिनाम् ।
सन्ततौ सन्ततं यस्य चिन्तनं ननु तं भजे ॥ ८ ॥
I salute our acharya who is always meditating upon the Lord Malola and also the lineage of acharyas of our sampradaya which is indeed commencing from Him and bearing the same name as His.

श्रद्धया दयया भक्त्या येनाSSसेतुहिमाचलम् ।
कृता विजययात्राSपि सततं नौमि तत्पदम् ॥ ९ ॥
I always salute the holy feet of our acharya who has completed the victorious yatra from the Himalayas until the Setu with shraddha and bhakti on the Lord and daya upon us.

भद्रमस्तु गुरोश्चापि मालोलस्य मठस्य च ।
आशंसामस्सदा भद्रे कैङ्कर्यश्रीस्तु वर्धताम् ॥ १० ॥
Let us wish at the feet of Sri Malola that there always be prosperity to our acharya, Malola and the Sri matha; let the wealth by name Kainkarya prosper.
